Weather in Tahoe

Lake Tahoe (c) Sascha Bruck

Tahoe weather is simply perfect, with close to 300 days out of the year offering bright sunshine. Whether you visit us in the winter or summer, you can expect the weather to cooperate with your plans. Are you hoping to hit the slopes at one of the area's many world class resorts? Many of the mountain resorts receive about 360 inches of fresh powder each year, and when mother-nature does not oblige, snow making facilities kick into full swing.

If you are traveling to Tahoe in the summer, spring, or autumn, you can expect Tahoe weather to be conducive to your plans. Fall foliage is stunning in Tahoe, and the day temperatures are mild enough to get out and do some sightseeing. Evenings are cool and perfect for spending some time relaxing by both in and outdoors.

Spring and summer bring with them temperatures that are quite agreeable for some outdoor fun and recreation. You can expect temperatures in the 50s and 60s during the spring months, and in the 70s and 80s during the dog days of summer. If you want to take advantage of this mild Tahoe weather, there are a host of aquatic activities to consider. From fishing to boating to jet-skiing, you can certainly find something to occupy your time.
