A New Favorite - Bistro Danielle

Bistro Danielle I’d like to share with you my favorite restaurant/wine bar at South Lake Tahoe. Bistro Danielle’s or Danielle’s, is a newer restaurant & bar at Lake Tahoe. The bar is very cozy, lots of flat screen TVs (they usually have a concert DVD playing), granite, wood and tile—trendy but very warm & comfortable. They are currently open Thursday through Sunday, have a “Happy Hour” with great bar menu (try the Bass Fish Tacos) and good selection of wines, beer and other spirits—a great place to meet old and new friends. In the restaurant you can chose from Short Ribs to Lamb to Salmon to Shrimp, etc. My current favorites are the Salmon which is served on a tasty bed of risotto/corn and the Short Ribs served with a cherry sauce—I get hungry just thinking about these. And some great deserts as well—I think I had the Crème Brulee last and it was delicious. It is a definite go back—I usually go there after work to meet some friends and can’t resist staying for dinner. Danielle’s is located at 605 Highway 50 in Zephyr Cove, Nevada, about 3 minutes drive north of the Stateline Casinos; they have parking in front as well as behind the building. Post my comment
