Lake Tahoe Entertainment

There is a buzz in the air around Tahoe—yes partially because all of the skiers and snowboarders are still swishing down the slopes—but also because plans for summer are being laid out bigger and better than ever before. We all appreciate the natural splendor of Tahoe...the hiking, biking, fishing and swimming that makes us one of the most celebrated summer destinations in California.  But Tahoe is also rolling out the Red Carpet and planning some amazing events and entertainment at venues all across town!

There has always been a lot to do here—we have never had the reputation of being a “sleepy little ski town” - but the ability to check out Foreigner, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss; Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick (and did I mention those three bands are TOGETHER); James Taylor, Sammy Hagar and so many more— some of which have not even been announced!Of course the Fireworks are a Tahoe Tradition.   We hold two huge celebrations—July 4th and again on Labor Day weekend.  These firework shows are synchronized to music and are the largest west of the Mississippi!  They are visible from any of a multitude of area beaches and vantage points around the south shore. If you haven’t already booked your summer escape to the Lake, I suggest you do it!   Check out all the happenings in our calendar of events.  Hurray for summer!
