Getting Around Lake Tahoe

Several well-developed transportation systems in the Tahoe Basin make it easy for visitors to Lake Tahoe to travel anywhere in the area without needing a car. Using a transportation system saves money and affords you a more relaxing trip that will enable you to really enjoy the sights. Plus, traveling the car-free way helps protect the environment and preserve the pristine beauty of Lake Tahoe.

Blue Go
BlueGo is a coordinated public transportation system that combines the resources of previously offered services under one management structure designed to streamline available resources and offer an easy, convenient, personalized transit option to both locals and visitors. South Shore, Lake Tahoe is the first region in the United States to deploy this type of computer networked multi-system transportation organization.

Internet Kiosks: Computerized kiosks have been strategically placed in 30 locations around the South Shore for convenient access to general shuttle information, fares, maps, routes and schedules. The kiosks are also equipped with an ordering interface that enables riders to schedule On Demand casino shuttle services and door-to-door rides.

Dedicated BlueGO Hotline: Dedicated phones have been located in 45 locations around south shore for easy access to BlueGO schedule information and ride request features.

Phone In Service: Riders may also call the BlueGO Hotline at 530-541-7149 or log on to www.bluego.org for complete schedules, fares, and further information about all BlueGO services. Riders may also schedule On Demand casino shuttle services and door-to-door rides.

If you would like a ride, and are not on a scheduled route, please call (530) 541-7149 to schedule a Door-to-Door ride.
